Jennifer Roberts is a technologist, repeat entrepreneur and seasoned venture capitalist. She co-founded her current fund, Grit Labs in 2015 with her partner, Kelly Coyne, to focus on pre-seed investments in AI+ Robotics. Prior to Grit Labs, Jennifer co- founded RallyOn, a wellness gaming startup, and served as Chair and Chief Marketing Officer. She was a founder and Managing Partner at Maven Venture Partners and a Managing Partner at top tier venture capital firm, Sevin Rosen Funds for over a decade with a focus on investing in optical and wireless systems. Prior to her career in venture, Jennifer led product and technical efforts at Apple Computer, Hewlett-Packard Company, and Sun Microsystems. As an early champion of women entrepreneurs, Jennifer co-founded Watermark, the premier organization for women entrepreneurs and executives. She has a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Stanford. She also earned an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. She is an active University of Texas and Stanford alum and serves as a mentor at Stanford’s StartX incubator, the Stanford Venture Studio and ICME at the School of Engineering. Jennifer also serves on the West Coast Advisor Board for Indiana University School of Business and is a Senior Fellow of the American Leadership Forum.
